A survey taken in 2020 showed that 3 out of 10 men were battling erectile dysfunction. Over the years, the problem has persisted and affected many relationships and patients’ self-esteem. A lot of men with this problem prefer not to speak about it, showing how badly it has affected their confidence.
However, scientists have helped develop several methods to treat erectile dysfunction so men can have better self-esteem. Most of these methods are ingestible drugs that help men improve their sexual life. Unfortunately, this approach can be a little slow and ineffective.
The cutting-edge treatment known as P-Shot was discovered recently and is a better treatment for erectile dysfunction. Moreover, the shot works perfectly for other disorders associated with the male reproductive system. Later in this article, I will mention some of these functions.
How much does the P shot cost? Due to the positive reviews and success of the P-shot, many men are now interested in it. The P Shot costs an average of $2,000. The amount may also vary depending on several factors, but it should still be around the price above.
Should you take a P-shot? How does it work? You should know about these if you want the P shot injection. In subsequent subheadings, I will show you the functions of the P shot and who can take it.

What should you know about P-Shot?
If you are going to get the P-Shot, it is only ideal that you know what you are getting into and how the whole process works. The human blood plasma contains some cells known as platelets. Platelets play a vital role in the male reproductive system, and a deficiency of platelets causes erectile dysfunction.
The P shot involves taking platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from your blood and injecting it into your penis. In some cases, when the platelets are not so evident in the serum, it is processed to separate the platelet-rich plasma. The resulting PRP is injected into specific parts of the penis.
The P shot, generally known as the Priapus Shot, involves injecting your cells into your penile tissues. It will help promote the growth of the penile tissues, caused by an increased blood flow to give better, stronger, and longer erections.
What is the P-Shot used for?
As I mentioned earlier, the P Shot involves the transfer of platelet-rich plasma to different body areas. Sometimes, the P Shot injection treats muscle and joint injuries, especially when they don’t heal faster. It is also used in treating chronic medical conditions.
However, in this context, the P-Shot treats several issues associated with penile functions. Some of these conditions include;
- Erectile Dysfunction (ED), the most popular treatment
- Peyronie’s disease is a medical condition whereby the penis curves when erect.
- Lichen sclerosis
- Penis enhancement or growth is also prevalent among athletes.
- Improved sexual function after prostate surgery
- Used with testosterone therapy
- General sexual performance and orgasm enhancement.
Is the P-Shot Painful?
Many people interested in the P-Shot treatment are usually scared to go into it. Many of them believe it will be a painful process, hence the reason for their fear. If you are also afraid to take the P-shot because you think it is painful, you should see this.
The P-Shot injection is not painful. Although it involves using a tiny needle, you will only feel a slight prick as soon as the needle enters. During the withdrawal of plasma from platelet-rich regions, like your arm, a syringe will be used; therefore, it will be similar to the pain of an injection.
P-Shot is a non-surgical process since you will not go under the knife for any reason. The only instruments used are syringes and tiny needles. However, to make it even more painless, a topical numbing cream will be applied to the area where the PRP will be injected.
After applying the numbing cream, you will not feel significant pain from the needle going through your penis. However, the cream only helps minimize the discomfort and does not guarantee the absence of pain during the procedure.
How much size does the P-Shot add?
The results of the P-Shot injection vary among different patients. Patient A might have a different increase in length and girth compared to Patient B. However, on average, most men experience as much as a 1.3-inch increase in length after taking the P-Shot.
Meanwhile, some men can experience up to a 1.1-inch increase in girth after the P-Shot injection. In some cases, some men experience a size increase in both length and girth, while some will only experience an increase in one of the two. It solely depends on the patient, and the growth can not be predicted before the injection.
There are also cases whereby some men did not experience any change in the size of their penises after the P-Shot injection. About 40 percent of men experience up to 20 percent growth. Sometimes, the effect of the P-Shot injection depends solely on the size of the penis before the shot.
Final Words
If you are one of those who think that the results of the P-Shot are permanent, then you need to get rid of such thoughts. The results of the P-Shot are only temporary; with time, the penis returns to its original size and function.
However, not being permanent does not mean that the results do not last long. The effects of the P-Shot can last for several years before it begins to return to normal. After the treatment, you will be asked to visit the health facility for follow-up treatments.
During the follow-up treatments, your doctor can monitor the development and watch for signs of complications. Generally, the P-Shot has no side effects, but the follow-up treatment is necessary to keep track of the process.
